Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, no, Sail! How frustrating! It's ok. I just wanted to gab. It was funny, though, because I IM'd like three or four different people, and no responded. I thought...hm...they've all gotten together and decided I'm a horrible human being. Oh, wait. It's Friday night :).

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Yeah, shows you what happens after two beers. All your memory cells jump ship before they drown and all you're left with is warm fuzzies.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

What size is the Divine Miz M?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Blackberries and cream for breakfast. Yum.

Eagerly awaiting a picture of Hec's freaky cat-thing. My nightmares need new characters.

Today, I think I'll go buy a flat screen monitor. I'm pretty tired of this enormous Gateway monitor. It's like two feet long. Way past time to upgrade.

Compassionately intolerant

Agh. I don't know what to do! My heart is saying one thing and my head is saying something entirely different.

I've been vaguely thinking about getting Bartleby a dog of his own for a couple of years now. I know he gets bored but I also know that he's pretty uninterested in other dogs in his space.

Then again, we've only ever had visitors before...and none of them were this guy . His name at the mo is Joe Spot and he looks an awful lot like Bartleby.

He's also in Macon GA...which is a world away, it seems.

Are two dogs too much? Will Bboy's life be better for having a sib? Will it drive me crazy? How can I get him anyway?

Ugh. This distraction I don't need right now, but I can't stop thinking about it!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Funny stuff? I have no funny, I think.

What I do have is a new job that is going really well so far. I think I'm really going to like it, which is a huge relief. The company was just named one of the 100 best companies to work for, too.
