Funny stuff? I have no funny, I think.
What I do have is a new job that is going really well so far. I think I'm really going to like it, which is a huge relief. The company was just named one of the 100 best companies to work for, too.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

3 months or 3-6? Things marked just 3 months are generally intended for the 0-3 month set. What's her length?
Ok. My oven won't close all the way, which is causing problems for my baking for my dinner party tonight. Any thoughts? Nothing's stuck, from what I can tell.
Some oven doors are removable.... is it connected all the way on both sides?
I think so.
Does properly refrigerated insulin really have to be tossed out after a month?
Only if the vial's been opened/used. Unaccessed vials can be stored in the refrigerator until their expiration date.
Cooling the oven so I can feel around. If I don't find anything my landlord's gonna come by. He's so good.
2002...gosh, that was 5 years ago. Craxy.
I totally made the right decision, moving back. And I was back in KC by August, and I AM happier, although it certainly wasn't a pain-free transition, seeing as I spent some quality time in Ye Olde Psyche Warde.
Huh. I have been in a psych ward AND jail. I totally need to start writing my memoirs -- what shall I call it? "Ordinary Craziness?" "Crazy Ordinariness"? "I"m More Fucked Up Than You, But I Teach YOur Kids - Nyah Nyah Nyah"?
And I am a teacher, and Gris, I feel your pain. First year IS awful -- EVERYONE feels totally incompetent and useless and wretched. The 2nd year is SO much better, though. And you have the extra-added fun of being in a new school? What a clusterfuck. But it really really does get better.
Come to KC. I can get you a job as a math teacher, and not to be all gloaty, but I fucking LOVE my charter school. We are not big, not rich, teach lots of illegal kids, ELL kids, kids in gangs, teen moms, and yet...we are making it work. We have a great staff, and I love my fucked-up kids so much it's nuts. I am so lucky -- I love my job, fleasa and all. It can be frustrating as hell, but when it works...it's like fucking MAGIC.
