My sister just emailed me that she's going to Toronto today all of a sudden, so I'm feeling the envy.
It's kinda windy and cold here today, (Hi Brenda!) not sure envy is the suitable response. However, I was just IMing with a friend about which of the eleven fancy coffee places within a block I should go to for my fix, so I guess there's appeal there.
Completely random:
Jilli, do you already know about these shoes? "Cause they seem custom-made for you. The downtown SF DSW has stacks of them at some discount or other, but they look nice and affordable even at full retail.
Also, Lee, there's a grocery store a few blocks from chez Zmayhem that has several aisles of British import treats. Doubtless not as many as at the San Carlos store Karl pointed you to, but I thought I'd mention it anyhow, it being so local and all.
Getting ready to move has made me all schmoopy for the people I've lost touch with in my life. May I present my prom date: [link]
oh dear ... I saw this and all I could think was "I thought they could fly!"

God, ducks falling are the funniest thing ever.
I'm just peeping in, hoping to post before...200. Sheesh. Back to catch up.
I was all with the catching up last night, when suddenly my stupid hotel internet connection got all hateful. BOO. Am at work (in minnesota) now. Should not be here. Ah well. Had to say, had dinner with Scrappy last night, and she is so fabulous!! Also, very smart, because i was saying stuff about my current "eek, dating someone? someone local?" freakout, and the things she said precisely summed up what my dilemmas were, and I was so "OMG you understand!" Also, she was just fun to talk to, and I wish we could've hung out more!

DED of teh Kyoote!
although, I had to wonder why a water bird would lay eggs in a tree, but whatever.
