I'm supposed to deliver you to the Master now. There's this whole deal where I get to be immortal. Are you cool with that?

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Thanks, Cash. They are something crazy wonderful.

Just yesterday Aidan was beating the crap out of me every time he turned around and not verbalizing anything at all, so I was discouraged about his progress. He, Greg and I have all had a sinus infection that won't go away and it's made it hard for Aidan to sleep, so we haven't slept much either. Then, last night, he had a full night's sleep and everything seems much less dire today.

Hec, sometimes your "good enough" parenting runs through my head and I'm comforted. I don't think I've ever told you that, but I thought you might like to know. It helps.

I'm glad, Deena. Proof's in the pudding - your kids are doing great.

Hey. New board.

DAMN. For a second, it looked like I was going to get out of teaching tomorrow. We had a training scheduled, to talk about class schedules for next year. Unfortunately, it got cancelled.

On one hand, that's good - I don't need to plan a sub-capable lesson for the one class that isn't taking a quiz. On the other, bigger hand, it sucks, because I have to get up at my normal time instead of half an hour late, and i don't get a nice break from my normal schedule.

Oh well. Bed now. G'night.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Sports Night is brilliant! Really, how did I never know this before? Just fucking brilliant.

It's made me laugh and sniffle and ship and ponder stuff. I'm good with this. So married. That night in Minneapolis with the Jager...

And my favoritest uncle called me. He's flying back into Oregon tonight - his part, not mine - and wanted to know how I was surviving snowpocolypse '07.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

One of us, one of us.

It's funny, I have in my head something like "Everyone's seen Sports Night", and I'm always surprised when people haven't. And then I scare them getting excited to lend DVDs.

And you're not even to the Cutman yet, are you.

t sigh

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Speaking of Sports Night, the head waiter at the restaurant that I had lunch at was a dead ringer for Josh Charles (aka Dan Rydell, especially from the profile.

I've had the Josh Charles crush for a long time. This show? Not making it go away...
