'Serenity'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

and sj, they will probbably say here are some drugs - chlesteral drugs are good. they work and don't tend to have side effect BP drugs can be trickier - just because there are side effects, but there are bunches to chose from.
I am actually more worried that they don't put him on anything. TCG is thin, fit, and he doesn't eat a lot of junk food or fast food. The bad stuff is pretty much just in his blood, so I would rather they put him on something, than tell him to change his diet or tell him it is only borderline, so he shouldn't worry. My stepfather is one of the fittest men I know, and he is in the same situation. He has been on blood pressure and cholesterol medication forever.
Jilli, I'd ask if that was really you, but I've been watching to see who has ended up with New England's snow this winter, so I know it's you. I am sad your snow love is gone.
Oh, I still think it's pretty and sparkly, and I will probably bundle up and go out in the yard to play in it at some point. But Seattle is just not meant to have snow, and I'm tired of the roads being dangerous.
But did you have to send it here? I mean, really?
Sorry! My instructions to the snow demons were a little on the vague side, I'll admit.
Yesterday: The snow was mostly gone, just hanging to shady spots, and our exterior stairs, but the roads were clear and icy spots a minor concern.
Overnight Forecast: Snow followed by rain. The proportions of which were unknown - the rain might wash away the snow or just form a dangerous icy crust to the snowfall.
Today: No rain. Just snow. 3 inches or so. It's just started snowing again... again. 3 inches isn't tricky most places, but when you've got hills like Seattle's got hills it gets really damn tricky fast.
Yes, we are done with Snowpocalypse, thankyouverymuch. More accurately, we are DONE with the frigid temperatures, though they are admittedly nothing compared to what the midwest is suffering.
x-posty from Natter:
My car told me that it was 30 degrees this morning in Pasadena when I started it to go to school. It didn't get above freezing until I started down into the Valley. WTF LA? I don't even have my real winter coats. They're all still in storage in CT, and my classroom is frigid. I'm huddled over my space heater.
Also? Heard on NPR this morning that they're estimating a 75% loss of the citrus and avocado crop. Everyone better stock up on fruit now, 'cause it is going to get expensive and difficult to find shortly.
Vague? I have about four inches of vague outside currently and it's still snowing. Unvaguely. I would like the snowpocolypse to go 'way now.
Hugs for the snow hating folks. You can come visit. I promise no snow. Ice chips may be found in tall tropical drinks.
Go AmyLiz! What a relief! Suzi - much job~ma Yay for Nora's granmother
Busy here. Ugh. Came into office before I ate breakfast, now is past lunch and only have consumed black coffee. Eyeing the microwave popcorn, but that doesn't seem like a good breakfast or lunch.

I was afraid of that. Crap.
Huh. I actually bought clementines for the first time yesterday. I'm totally prescient.
I like frisson and darkling.
they're estimating a 75% loss of the citrus and avocado crop.Talked to my dad today and their neighbor's avocado grove has serious frost damage. Their trees are younger than my parent's so we are hoping that my parent's trees will be okay. It got down to 17 degrees. Teh hell?
