So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

I most sincerely doubt it. Especially given the timing of it.

An apology for something that had caused a kerfuffle, in a kerfuffle based thread? Yeah, maybe.

But maybe I'm too old-time online and cranky, and see it as the same as when some nutjob wanders into your living room. Because too little, too late, too bad.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

A starting point would be to come over here and participate in the discussion about the problems she's causing.

That would be one starting place. Are you saying that this can't be another?

Is she subscribed to Bureaucracy? If not, she probably doesn't even know the discussion is taking place.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

It's been mentioned to her several times, on board and (I think) in emails.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

More than one person has emailed her with links to this discussion (and mentioned doing so in this thread).

[edit: And, since B'cy is a sidebar thread, one doesn't have to be subscribed to see it. I'm not.]

I remember noticing it in one post, when (Kat?) first mentioned the possible warning. Didn't notice any other mentions of it at all, but then, I don't read Unamerican, and I've been skim boy. I assume that if anyone emailed her about it, they'll speak up.

But don't you have to be to have it come up when you hit Read New? Cuz' that's all I do, and probably lots of others.

People have emailed her. People have directly posted links in threads. People have bent over backwards. She knows this place is here. She's been here before.

Monique - Apr 12, 2003 10:00:32 pm PDT #9512 of 10001

I posted to her in Unamerican (3237), and linked her to the very start of the discussion. Others have also mentioned in this thread that they e-mailed her, but inasmuch as I am loathe to go back through the 300+ and apparently growing posts about her, you'll have to scroll to find out who did.

Thrive to spite them

Gandalfe, if you look on the main page at all Bureaucracy is there.

Zoe was told at least twice in UnAmericans what was going on over here with links. I think several other people told her without linking.

I'm pretty sure someone mentioned it over in Angel.

She was told, right after another inicident where she had a weird ass post.

No one is hiding this from her or trying to keep it a secret. We want her over her to explain, to say something, to let us know what's going on.

I really don't see any reason why people should have to repeat themselves for your benefit if you haven't been following the conversation. If, for whatever reason, you don't trust Hil and I [and Monique and PMM, and Askye] enough to take our word, why not threadsuck and search for the word "email"?

But don't you have to be to have it come up when you hit Read New? Cuz' that's all I do, and probably lots of others.

Which is why she was emailed more than once with a link to this conversation.
