Thrive to spite them

God this is confusing.

How many seconds does it need for an issue to move to the Discussion thread? And if we get that many seconds then why do we have to wait until midnight?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

4

And if we get that many seconds then why do we have to wait until midnight?

Just to keep things neat with counting the days, I think.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Know what? Who are you people?

What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It should be opened now for Sophia's proposal. The war thread proposal a) hasn't received enough seconds and b) hasn't been determined to be valid or not, so it's still a going topic here.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

A motion needs 4 seconds to be Lightbulbed.

And I don't know why midnight (board time). It just seems like that's the default start and end time for discussions & voting. (Plus, that's what Sophia's post said. So, really, it's her fault.)

Nobody

askye - We need 4 seconds (so a proposer and then 4 more people). I think Wolfram only has 2 seconds. I don't know why we're waiting 'til midnight though for a discussion if there were enough seconds. That doesn't make sense.

I'd like to recommend we only have one item on the table in the discussion thread at the same time. It seems to me Sophia's proposal should go all the way through the process and discussion (on that item) should close and go to a vote before another topic can get discussed there. Otherwise? We'll get dizzy.

Not to further muddy the issue...though it's so freaking murky now I can't see my hand in front of my face...but did we ever make a decision about discussing multiple proposals at once? Like, Sophia's proposal got the requisite number of seconds first. So it holds first place in the discussion line. If someone else proposes something now, do we talk about them simultaneously or do we wait until next week to deal with proposal #2?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think it can be opened now.

I just didn't want to end the voting at 7:38 board time, but we can!
