Hmmm... Maybe not.

voting being first mooted by Jesse
Um, what's that mean?
Sorry Jesse, I realise now that looks a bit weird.
What I mean to say was that I took my starting point from a more or less arbitrary point, but it was the point at which you said "I don't mind appearing authoritarian myself: I propose such-and-such".
That wasn't the point voting came up, of course, but it was the point voting started to be discussed in detail and here as opposed to WX.
Update: my arbitrary starting point for the above stats was Jesse "Bureaucracy 1: Like Kafka, Only Funnier" Feb 24, 2003 9:54:26 am EST -- and my equally abitrary end point was DavidS "Bureaucracy 1: Like Kafka, Only Funnier" Mar 6, 2003 12:10:47 pm EST -- I hope that makes sense to people.
But I read the whole thing, all 1908 posts, twice over.
More stats, I hear you cry?

Gangs of Arbitrary Number:
Someone should be asking "did you screen out taglines?" I did. Then I noticed that Sophia and some others didn't have taglines. Freaks. So I'd been ignoring the first lines of their posts, so I had to do it again.

Gee, I never came in 22nd in the porn counts. I think I need to change my ways.
You're amazing, John.
Next time, I shall endevour to insert a :P when sticking my tongue out at someone.
Or just, you know, make it clear at whom you are sticking your tongue out. Or something. OK.
Honestly, all Go14 jokes aside, by my count there were 37 people with at least 10 posts on the subject. And more than half of those who turned out to vote had at least something to say. That's not so bad, really.
Or just, you know, make it clear at whom you are sticking your tongue out. Or something. OK.
Honestly, I thought the "so there." was enough to mark it as tongue-in-cheek. Perhaps adding a neener.
I knew what, and who, he meant. But I'd just counted down to find out my position on the list (13) so I knew where Plei was.
