A thread to discuss naming threads, board policy, new thread suggestions, and anything else that has to do with board administration and maintenance. Guaranteed to include lively debate and polls. Natter discouraged, but not deleted.

Anyway, I guess what I was asking is really a question that would be answered if they read this thread (is voting like this the only way it will ever be?) and didn't need to be asked at all.
Perhaps we could add something about procedures being discussed later, but that people will get their say for that, to?
God damn, I am a loud mouth in this sort of thing! Someone make me shut-up!
I'm okay with keeping #4 on the ballot.
I'd rather start voting tonight and extend the voting period if we're having doubts that everybody has had a chance to check in. This thing's a lead sled and once it stops it's going to be difficult to get it moving again. Better to get it started and then let it run longer than postpone the start date.
I won't die if we make the edit, rather than take it off. Either is good. Sorry, have to run again. Anything is good with me at this point.
popping in before running off again
If anyone needs me to do anything, please e me at my profile addy. I'll come available about 11 p.m. EST, so let me know.
Thank you, everyone.
I do too Jon-- it is just so hard to tell if people haven't said anything because they don't care, or because they haven't seen anything.
I would assume B, if only because it forces us to be the most circumspect.
Deena, if #4 stays on the ballot, then currently voting and duration of debate & vote are two separate items. You can vote for the one and against the other.
When and who is doing the APB?
I'd keep number four, and extend voting, maybe into the weekend. Also for spamming the threads. For the time being we can continue discussion in here while voting is open, for anyone who wants to.
I also tend to think that the majority of registered users will be affected very little, if at all, by the kind of thing we're going to be deciding.

Me, too, but I till feel a bit like there are people who are not necessarily against voting, but against talking about it.
Anyhoo.
it is a horrible time to spam Buffy with the news(show staring in 6 minutes) unless we do it wuick. Or are we aiting to spam until the voting is open (oh ita?)

Anyone who's against voting can, just this once, vote. And vote against it, and if there are enough of them, So Shall It Be.
