Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'm heading out of town tomorrow after work and therefore will be dark until some time on Monday.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

If it's not asking too much, the BF, previously mentioned around these parts, is up for a pretty significant promotion. He's already interviewed with the direct manager of the new position and gotten her recommendation, but he still needs to get through one more round with the district manager. So if any spare vibes could be vibed toward my favorite crazy swordfighting guy at around 4:00 ET/ 1:00 Board time tomorrow, it certainly wouldn't hurt.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Asking for interview-ma at 2:15 eastern time, I guess that makes it 11:15 board time. I'm interviewing for the job I already have, in an attempt to go from temp to perm.

thanks.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Numfar, do the dance of employment!

I have a job!

Huge thanks for all your fabulously effective -ma, people. Bless you.

Nobody

Housema would be appreciated - we fell in love with a house we can afford on paper, but that's about all we'll have left iffn we buy it - our contractor is being a pain in the arse about starting our addition, and well, I won't break the board telling the whole story. Just vibe at us, please, that we'll make the right choices, and finally have a home where we actually fit.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Diana update: The new liver is working properly so far, and she's scheduled to be moved to a standard hospital room today. The new kidney is a bit slower to start up, but apparently that's normal, and she still has partial function from the kidneys she was born with, so apparently that's not a worry yet. So the appropriate outlook seems to be guarded optimism.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I'll be going slightly grey in the weeks to come, as I'll be not sitting in front of a computer for 8 hours a day. In fact, I leave the office in a few minutes.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Good and Bad news:

One of my best friends who has been unemployed has been offered a job (YAY!).

It's in CA, Bay area (BOO!).

So anyway, I am not thrilled about losing her to the west coast, but thought I could be a supportive friend and post here for any leads on housing. SHe has said that she will most likely be looking in the mission area near the Cal train(?). If that makes sense, feel free to e me info on good realtors or whatnot. msbelle (at) earthlink (dot) net

Just heard from my Mom, she had a cardiac catheterization today and got great news! She is healthy as a horse and the bad signs that brought her into the hospital were due to nervousness and nothing else. Yay for healthy Ma ma!
