It really doesn't matter. It's just an opinion. Don't worry about it. Not worth the hassle.

Just to let everyone know, Vortex is safely out of surgery and into recovery. According to the update, she's doing fine; whether she survives a week or two of care at the ancestral home is a whole 'nother matter.

More updates (I bet meara has some, as well) as they become available. I'll be calling tomorrow to check in on Our Ms. V.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Second interview scheduled for Thursday at 3 PDT. Jobma please - the first dose was potent.

The DH had a gating email interview yesterday for a QA job he can do quite well. They have many to read, but please, send jobma that they like his enough to ask for a face-to-face.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm back from Ireland now. Ireland was great. I got totally lost in Heathrow and nearly missed my connection coming home, but I made it. I'm not sure how much I'll be online, though, since my home internet connection is getting a bit screwed up right now.

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

Have second interview at a company which I think will be a nearly perfect fit for me tonight. Jobma vibes appreciated.

I'm a fucking amazing catch!--Fiona Gallagher, Shameless(US)

We won the budget fight! I'm sure it's cause I'm so brilliant. ;)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Thanks to Deb for the update. I am now at the ancestral homestead. Feel okay, little tired and sore. Online will be sporadic, as mom is nosy and might notice where I am and start lurking. *shudder*

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

YES! YES! YESSSSSS!

My office's move has been pushed back to October. I do NOT have to spend September 11th (aka, my birthday) across the street from the World Trade Center! I can take time off!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The tie is on (modified Windsor knot, if you're wondering) which must mean I'm going to the second interview.

Hit me with your best jobma. I can take it.
