"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Going dark for the weekend. Will be in Wales, celebrating the 30th birthday of a friend. It promises to be...interesting. Possibly hellish, in fact, but one never knows. There's always alcohol to tide one over during the hideous cold-turkey-from-Buffistas period.

{[-_-]}

Hi, missed you guys - what with the board being down and me working to a big deadline. Just like to say, the deadline was met and the results are at sounds like techno. I'd love feedback at plasmo@bund.com.au if you feel like it. Thanks!

Going gray since I'm going to the nation's capital for 2 days. I will try to visit Lush and think about Buffistas.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Going grey for a week or so. Having some minor surgery, very routine. I'll be recovering at my parents' house. I'll be online but I don't know how often.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm going to be dark for most of the next week, first for a trip to Vegas, then for a trip to Tucson, to see the 'rents.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I will be dark all next week due to general insanity at work and being out of town. From Wednesday through Sunday I'll be busy crewing for the Tour de Friends, an AIDS ride from NC to DC. I already linked this once, but I had just delurked so probably nobody cared. In case you care now...

Check out my personal donation page with just a touch of Buffy

I'm not asking for donations, though I wouldn't kick your credit card out of bed. (and BTW, thank you Ellen S.!)

Anyway, see y'all in a week or so.

Hellbound Equal-Opportunity Nookie Hog

If anyone can spare jobma vibes for my DH, Bob, please do so. A friend of a friend has a very good position open in a company he is qualified for and could actually commute to and still have a life. The FoaF connection will help, I know, but that only goes so far. He's been unemployed now for a year and a day, and there's only so much farther the reserves are going to stretch. If he could get this before they run out, we'd be more than relieved.

I'm getting the pig!

Early this morning, on Father's Day, my sister called to let me know that her husband had passed away at home after a severe heart attack. He was 35 years old. They have two young children, Taylor is 4 and Nicholas just turned 2.

I may be dark while figuring out how to get to Mississippi for the funeral since all of my spare funds were just handed over to a realtor yesterday as an Earnest Fee on my possible new house. You never seem to get the good without the bad, in my family.

Prayers for my sister and her children would be much appreciated. House-ma would be secondary but appreciated also.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

The Grapevine Bar (Where Mr. Heather manages & bartends) was in the June issue of Out magazine! It was their "Hot Issue: 79 People, places, and things that turn us on right this minute."

Hottest Jukebox Grapevine, Dallas

At a bar where nothing matches (not the decor, glassware, or people) the jukebox, boasting Donna Summer, Jimmy Buffett, and Judy Garland is no exception.
