"We have trust issues." Mylar

Please send a little healthma my dad's way. He was diagnosed with cancer in 1996 and went into remission in late 1997. Unfortunately, now the doctors think he might be coming out of it. He starts doing tests next week. The major ones don't start until May 15th. It could be nothing or he could need to start treatment again. We should know within the next few weeks. In the meantime all vibes greatly appreciated.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Oh, I'm dark for a bit. And it's not because of my fetching haircut (oh yeah, it's bitchin'). I finished law school! They're actually giving me a juris doctor tomorrow! (And my parents are in town and then I'm going back home for my grad party.) Stay warm, be good, see y'all at the F2F.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Got an e-mail from my mom letting me know that my uncle has terminal cancer, and isn't expected to last very long. Any vibes for him and my aunt that he have a painless and peaceful death would be appreciated.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

My future father-in-law passed away on Wednesday. I will be dark for a good long while. In many senses. I know I am only on the fringes of the community here, but I have this compulsion to tell everyone I possibly can.

Here is his obituary.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Going dark for a few days - paid work so it's all good. Not a lot, by my landlord will appreciate it.

And -t I'm so sorry.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Finally...a bit of good news.

My grandfather who was very very ill most of last year with multiple myloma and pneumonia had a new bone scan on Friday. They got the results today and there are no new spots!! He is clear to head north for the summer!! Woohoo!!

I'm back from California! Until I head back at the end of the month (woohoo!).

Meanwhile, I'm about 2000 messages behind in each and every thread. So, uh, see y'all eventually (read: as soon as I run out of energy and just skip).

I've been working on a song about the difference between analogy and metaphor.

I have a job interview today at 3pm. Good vibes appreciated.

Bag the crypto. Say what is on your mind.

School's out for me. First, Dublin, Ireland for one week, visting Becky's folks, and possibly some of mine. We're flying out this evening. We'll try to post something from Eire. Email addy just fine, if infrequently checked. Second, road trip to F2F begins in Chicago on the 14th... All be well.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Going an uncertain shade of grey for a few weeks due to Big Work Stuff. Love y'all.
