Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

Haven't been posting here much lately, but I wanted to say that I just make an offer for a co-op in Brooklyn Heights (NY). Any spare housema you might have would be appreciated.

As I mentioned in the Firefly thread, I'm unloading a bunch of BtVS, Angel and Firefly merchandise on ebay. Rather than spamming every thread, I'll just post the link to the list of items. I'll be adding a new one every day or two, if anyone's interested:

ETA: Um...some Firefly fans might be highly interested in the third, and latest, item on that list. *sniff*

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Thank you for your good Karma vibes, lovely people. WeeSisterJay returns to the loving bosom of her family tomorrow afternoon, hopefully SARS-free. She's gutted to be a rat leaving a sinking ship and will miss Beijing dreadfully, but we are all bloody relieved to have her in (comparative) safety once more. She can always go back later.

Another social casualty...

My DH has submitted a resume to a company in Florida. If he gets it, we can return to the Land of No Snow, near-by family, and (hopefully) less job suckage. Any spare jobma and anti-stress vibes are appreciated.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I will be going mostly dark until sometime Monday, since my mom is visiting. Although we normally get along, I am stressy and PMS, so don't-kill-each-otherma would be appreciated.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I finally made a grad school decision: George Washington.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Been very busy. I hate popping in here, but... We lost someone else today. A friend of ours, and a regular of Mr. Heather's killed himself.

Going up there now to see what we can do.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hi everyone. I'm grey today.

Some idiot severed the cable company fiber optic line in town and now all CATV is out and my nice fast cable modem is blinking forlornly at me.

Borrowing a friend's account to post this.

It has been several hours, and Fiber Optics take a helluva long time to repair.

Sigh.

Edit: Never mind. They finally fixed it!

New, fully poseable Author!Knut.

Going dark for a couple of days as I move to Chicago. Wish me move-ma and smooth cable modem hookups at the other end.

ETA that I am still reachable at my profile address, but note that this has changed, and since my current service seems to be frelled I may not receive any emails sent in the past day or two.

See you all soon.
