Update on my mother, who underwent open heart surgery 18 months ago.
She just went in for Shoulder Joint Replacement, and was released two days later.
She says that (at 87) it's nice to know she can still get replacement parts.

The glorious love and gracious generosity of the Buffistas cannot be described in word. The "holy fuck!" I said when I opened Anne's letter and saw the enclosure is only the barest summary.
