We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

There is a hole in the world. Kara died this evening. DJ and her sister and friends were there. Thanks to all for your prayers and good thoughts.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Got laid off in the company restructure, but am more OK with it than maybe was even expecting--that said, any job leads in the Seattle Area are OK by me!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Could I get ~ma sent Northern Cali way for my lovely brother-in-law who is in the ICU tonight and goes in for emergency open heart surgery tomorrow morning. Quick recovery is the message to the Surgery Gods.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Update on my mother, who underwent open heart surgery 18 months ago.

She just went in for Shoulder Joint Replacement, and was released two days later.

She says that (at 87) it's nice to know she can still get replacement parts.

The glorious love and gracious generosity of the Buffistas cannot be described in word. The "holy fuck!" I said when I opened Anne's letter and saw the enclosure is only the barest summary. I do not like thinking about what condition I would be in now if not for this place. I hope that in the months and years to come I'm able to thank some of you in person.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I am happy to announce that I have sold my first short story to the Genius Loci anthology! I have some incredible ToCmates. Thank you to everyone for supporting me over the years: guess I might have a future in this writing thing after all.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just applied for a position at NBC for which I am SUPREMELY qualified. So if any of you knows somebody at NBC... or even know somebody who knows somebody at NBC who could help me lift my resume out of the pack a bit please get in touch ASAP!
