This is going in Beep Me b/c I am too tired for Natter. I made it to Dublin! Anyone following my travel saga will not be surprised that when I arrived at Heathrow there was no booking for me on the flight. Fortunately, the nice BA man sorted it out for me and I am here!

Happy news!

Nilly gave birth to her baby girl this morning (it's afternoon now in Israel). All are well, and very happy. That's all I have for now.

SFistas! My friend Stephen the personal chef is doing a pop up restaurant in the bar Truck at 1900 Folsom. He's doing high class French Style bar food. Last I heard, the menu would include:

Pork Rilletes with Walnut Bread, Mustard and Cornichon – Pork braised in its own fat and wine served with crunchy walnut toast points, whole grain mustard and sweet pickles

Boules de Bouef avec Pommes de Terre – Savory beef meatballs in a Port Wine Gravy over Steamed Herbed Potatoes

Crudite et Fromage – Seasonal Vegetables with Romanesco Sauce, Basil Aioli and Garlic Crostini with Local Cheeses

Gratin Dauphinoise with Creme Fraiche Lorraine – Potatoes roasted in cream and garlic topped with a thickened cream, caramelized onions and house cured bacon

Croque Monsiuer – Toasted Ham & Gruyere Cheese Sandwich Topped with a Creamy Bechamel Sauce served with pomme frittes

Burger de Porc: Hamburger of ground pork, ground bacon and herbs served with pomme frittes

It was diagnosed a couple of weeks ago, and the Drs were convinced it would just reabsorb on its own, but he's been having worse and worse pain, so I guess they've decided to take action. Please send safe surgery~ma for B, and calm and strength to K while she waits.
