Now it can be told. I am going to be in a Jane Espenson production! Okay, actually my HOUSE is. Jane is working on a short web series and they are using my house as a location. We just had the director and DP guy here with Jane and it's now a done deal. I think it's going to be way cool. Not sure when they shoot.

Can I get some dog ~ma? (I almost can't believe I just typed that.) The puppy guppy has some vague symptoms, so Paul's headed to the ER vet with her to rule out or nip in the bud something serious.
Oh, yeah, and also, easy birth-ma for my niece's mother, who's like a sister to me and is having a baby RIGHT NOW. So, really, basically, I'd like to hog the ~ma for the evening. Yeah. Umm.
Well, that was quick! Dog's home with some antibiotics, and when I said RIGHT NOW! above, my new nephew was already about five minutes old. I shall now stop bogarting the ~ma.
Hey, so, on Sunday, I'm moving from Baltimore to (near) Rehoboth Beach, DE for a couple months, and then the plan is to move to DC and get a place with a friend who's there all ready.
Get the business rolling -ma would be awesome, as that will determine how quickly I can get to DC. Still might need to find some supplemental part-time work, but whatever it takes.
Just a heads-up, I guess. I'm feeling more dedicated lurker than active participant these days. More's the pity.
-ma requested for my old man kitty, nicknamed the Dread Pirate Byron after his 2008 amputation. He is old and has a thyroid problem, and I'd noticed some odd behavior. We are at the vet for the second time today because they are concerned about his reaction to the earlier blood draw.
Immediate crisis has been resolved. We are still waiting on tests that won’t come back until tomorrow, but it’s likely his thyroid and some anemia that’s causing the problems. Manageable for now. Thanks for good wishes, all. He’s been my kitty for a long time.
And now my gram is headed into the ER with heart issues. She’s 98, but she’s been in good health for her age. Mom is most worried about her being debilitated, so ~ma for the best possible outcome. Ideally, health.
I will be home on Thursday. I would really like to see her doing well.
ETA: She is being admitted but is doing okay so far. We will have to wait and see.
I'd like to ask for some surgery~ma at around 4:30AM board time (7:30EST). I'm having surgery for my fibroids. Should be a smooth laproscopic procedure by one of the best doctors in the area, but the ~ma is strong, and can't hurt.
It's all official and sh*t.
Here's basically the type of thing I'll be doing at my new job (!) as Instructional Writer/Producer at the San Francisco studio of Allen Interactions, a Minneapolis-based company that produces custom-designed e-learning for training and performance improvement: [link] San Francisco clients include companies such as Apple, Disney, Google, Lucasfilm, and even California law enforcement.
I'm sure it is going to be quite a challenge, with a steep learning curve in instructional design, but very interesting and creative as well. Plus, occasional travel (hopefully to Buffista cities) once I start working with my own clients.
This may go poof soon.
