I'd love some ~ma directed my way starting at 11:00 AM. I can't really talk about it at all but I'm about to walk into a pretty important meeting.
If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me
Birth, death, illness, new job, vacation...if it's happening to you and you want us to know about it, post it here. These threads are intended for announcements only. Want to offer sympathy or congratulations, or talk about anything? Take it to Natter. Any natter here will be deleted.
In the continuing theme of 2011 is determined to mess with me: I just found out that due to budget cuts, my job ends in July.
Requesting some health~ma for my oldest sister. She has some fast moving infection and is in the hospital.
My DH has accepted a new job that will be based in NYC, and so he will be there at least two nights a week starting June 27th. (Speaking of someone's Plan A . . . who knew world peace would complicate my life so much?) We believe we have a lead on a part-time apartment for him, but if anyone knows someone who would like to share rent and would be an easy commute to the UN, ping me!)
Jobma over the next couple of hours would be gratefully appreciated. I welcome any positive vibes in the direction of SF.
25 years ago today, I told this guy that I would be legally connected to him. I've often thought I wouldn't have done it if I'd known all the things that would happen, but I'm still here, and here I stay. For better and for worse, my beloved. The better with you is pretty damned good.
Peektures of ma new house on flickr. Hope this link works - [link]
Boston-area-istas, I'll be in Waltham in mid-July and would love to see you. F2F thread!
Requesting some of the much patented ~ma- I'm performing in a dancing showcase tonight, my first time in costume (a borrowed one but still) and doing one of my competition routines.
~ma so that I don't blow it completely would be much appreciated.
As the Natterers know, we were able to confirm a sighting of my lost dog last night. This is the first confirmation that she's alive we've had since the night she was lost in April, and we're trying to make the most of it. Your tweets, facebook posts and other social media were a great help to us in generating a lot of interest in her story. I did three television interviews, and the Washington Post ran a column. So, I'm asking for your help again. Please post a link to our blog so we can get people to help us get the word out in the area and we can find volunteers to help us get posters up. [link]
