I just e-mailed the place I hope to get hired by, asking for a time frame. I'm hoping of course, that rather than giving me a time frame they will say "you're the one".

My little brother, Jon (21), has to have surgery on Thursday. He has been getting cysts, and they want to remove something (cyst track maybe. Boy…I’m showing how well I listen, huh?) to make it so he won’t continue to get them. My mom is flying to Chicago tomorrow to be with him. This is when I hate being so far away. Vibes, thoughts and prayers sent Chicago-wards would be appreciated.
I'm going to be going dark for a few days - not only is work ramping up (again!), but The Husband is sick and in need of being looked after. If anyone absolutely needs to get in touch, the profile addy is good.
Flying to SoCal tomorrow morning. Gonna be completely dark 'til Tuesday, as long as I'm not kidnapped by the Order of Glitter.
Hi folks - still don't know if I have the job or not. But I will know on Friday. They told me they are making a final decision by Friday and will contact me then to let me know.

My nephew Chris joined the National Guard a few months before 9/11.
He has been called up for duty.
He leaves Sunday for an unknown destination.

I'm going dark for a few days for work and a trip to Vegas (Yeah Baby!) and then dim for a week or so for work. I will be checking email, if any LAistas have questions/RSVPs for the Huntington Garden Tea Room. (See Press #348 for details)
