I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I'll be in NorCal from Sept. 30 - Oct. 11. While I have some things definitely fixed like Hardly Strictly Bluegrass on the 3rd and Harbin Hot Springs from 4-7/8, I have other times available, esp evenings. If some Bay Area Buffistas want to meet up for a cheap dinner somewhere, please drop me a line.

My Brother is going to be Manhattan for medical reasons. He is going to be stuck in a hotel for a good part of the time because of medical treatments that will require him to remain in a sitting position for most of the stay.

He will be at the Bentley Hotel 500 E. 62nd St.

He is wondering if anyone can rec some good places that deliver. He can't handle dairy or anything very spicy but can handle mildly spicy. Within those limitations (Chrohns) he is adventurous. Also his fiancee will be there and was wondering if anyone can rec. some stuff in the immediate area that she can do without leaving him alone too long - bookstores and museums and such

profile addy good.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Pearl, my chihuahua, passed suddenly Saturday morning with no suffering. We called her the drama queen and joked that she was the only one who didn't know she was tiny, and for that matter, a dog. She saw me through a divorce. She saw C through moving around due to my job, when she was his only friend. She was my alarm of anything out of the ordinary and companion to my whole family. She had a huge heart for only a few people that she considered her family, and her heart was only matched by her attitude. Fare well Drama Queen. You were a good friend and will be missed.

For those over in Supernatural, I still haven't seen the premiere, but will watch in the next few days, when things feel a little better, and then be back in thread. Thanks also to the buffistas who have already reached out to me. I treasure you more than you will ever know.

If there's ~ma to spare after Jilli gets heaps of it, some standardized-test-fu~ma around 8am est tomorrow would be fantastic. Some good-outcome~ma tomorrow for DH as he deals with a co-worker who threw him under the bus today would be even better.

OK - Senior editor thinks a new title for my book is essential to get it accepted by committees. I've described the book in Great White Way, so suggestion would be very welcome.

Friday morning (not sure what time) in Orlando, FLA, my BiL will be at a job interview. He's been out of work since retiring from USMC, about 3 years, which has stressed my sister out a lot. This is the first interview that doesn't involve a job in the Green Zone or Afghanistan. Please, some of the patented Buffista Job~ma that he gets this well paying job. Thank you!!
