Wesley: I stabbed you. I should apologize for that. But I'm honestly not sure how. I think it'll just be awkward. Gunn: Good call. Wesley: Okay.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Some let it be nothing~ma for Mom, please. She had the vitrectomy on Thursday, everything was going well, and this morning she started vomiting with chills and sweats, and her BP and blood sugar levels are entering dangerous territory. L just took her to the ER, and I'm headed to the shop to cover for her.

I'd really like the medical roller coaster to end. This is not a fun ride for her.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

So anyway, I'm 13 weeks pregnant. Woo hoo!

Congratulations, Jessica!

I'm really behind in every thread right now, so please don't think I'm ignoring any of you....

Mom's back home and resting. She was dehydrated, which was easy enough to fix. The nausea was caused by the pressure being too high in the affected eye, which caused motion sickness, so the doctor did some magic with needles. She goes to the specialist first thing in the morning. The high blood sugar was the result of steroids in the prescription eye drops. We'll see if a change to prednisone-free drops helps.

In short we're cautiously optomistic, but the ER didn't inspire a lot of confidence so we're waiting until we get the all clear from her regular doctors. Thanks for the continued ~ma; I'm a true believer in its effectiveness.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cool beans. The blog I write for was just named one of the best blogs of 2010 by Time magazine.

Thanks for the interview~ma! The first interview went well and I go back for a second one on Thursday. So, a little more for Thursday at 2:00pm Central time would be most appreciated, again.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Dad is safely back from Afghanistan. Thanks for the ~ma.

Now tagless for your comfort.

If I could get a little funding~ma for the small non-profit I volunteer for that would be great. I've been working on a survey and a report to defend us to our primary funders and if it works out, I think we can still do a lot of good in the community. I'm meeting with them later this morning after submitting my report yesterday.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Hey everybody. We haven't got internet at our new place yet but I have a library card! I'll be dark grey for the near future.
