asking for some quick remission~ma for a good friend who is going into the hospital for leukemia-related chemo. she has two young kids and is a wonderful person, mother, artist, and friend.

Tamara's (-t) husband Henry died suddenly and unexpectedly yesterday. On Facebook, she posted:

Please come if you can, or visit while I am sitting Shiva the remainder of the week. And tell anyone who loves Henry that doesn't already know. Thank you.

(I asked her permission before posting this, but I really don't know any other details. There has been some talk about trying to do various things to support her through this as best we can. I'll let that conversation take place in thread.)

I don't want to bogart the job~ma, but I just filled out the online application for would probably be my dream job. If anyone could spare a little for this one I would really appreciate it.

Can I get a little heart~ma for my dad? He has an appointment with his cardiologist today to see if he needs a pacemaker.

Delurking to ask for any spare job~ma there may be. I'm going to test in a few minutes for the State of California, then begin the application process for jobs with Disability Insurance and Unemployment (the only growth industry in the state these days). I really need steady work, and would love to work as a civil servant. I've seen what ~ma does around here. Thanks in advance.

A long time ago a buffista was having car trouble and wished for car~ma. After that people began requesting job~ma and school~ma and the ~ma is strong. I requested heart~ma for Dad. Did it help?

Mom says

I like it and maybe it did...............he hasn't scheduled the pacemaker yet. The doc gave him a new prescription for a diuretic, taking him off another med. This is supposed to decrease the swelling in his feet and ankles and increase his heart rate. We see him again in 2 weeks...........thank you........

Legal types...is it legal for a school to claim that anything you created at the school (lesson plans, etc,) is THEIR property and cannot be taken or deleted? Because that's my school is trying to do to people who are leaving, and I'm calling shenanigans. A teacher's life work is his/her intellectual property, right?

So, that ~ma I asked for regarding the company I work for? The owner is selling it so she can retire. She negotiated tirelessly to ensure we would all be hired on, at same rates of pay, and to not lose our seniority for things like accruing PTO. The new outfit will take over later this summer, and I have to go apply for my job on Monday. Would appreciate any spare good thoughts for the transition, and many good thoughts for the lady who has taken such good care of us (employees and clients).

If anyone has spare health~ma laying around, I'd appreciate some for my dad. He's checked into the hospital today for tests to see if he's having gall bladder problems or if it's something else.
