I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

The Girl's father's surgery was a success! He's cancer-free, and we hope it will stay that way. It was big big surgery so he'll be in recovery for a while, but everyone is very hopeful over in Houston (at the cancer clinic).

I will be grey for the next week, as I move back to CA. I will have my edge iPhone. And hopefully wi-fi in hotels.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hi folks. Historic Green, the nonprofit that organizes the green rebuilding thing in New Orleans, would love to talk to some kind of nonprofit mentor, particular concerning issues of how to manage personalities (IOW how do you fire a volunteer?).

If anyone has experience they'd like to share, or knows of an organization that does that kind of mentoring, please to hit me up at profile addy. Thanks!

I sold my house! Well, it's under contract, at least. Moving to North Carolina to join my family in mid-June.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Hi all. I'm posting from my very large garden of boxes and random household items to beg for a shit ton of cat~~ma. My Switch has gone MIA. We think he might have gotten out while moving was happening. We spent two hours searching the

...

Wow. That was quick. In the middle of typing that, Joe walked in with a very scared and dirty Switch encased in the cat carrier. He was under a bush in the next door neighbor's back yard. That was some fast cat~~ma!! Thanks everyone!!

Whew.

And for those of you playing the Miracleborn Famnily home game, exactly three years ago today Switch escaped during our move out of house in LA.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Ryan turned one last week, and we had some professional photos taken. We received them today, and they are quite gorgeous. You can see them starting here: [link]

We used the same photographer that took his 100 day photos: [link] My favourite photo in the latest batch is this one: [link]

Compassionately intolerant

I need ma right now.

The building next to mine is on fire.

We are evacuating now. God help us.

eta: Thanks be to all that be. My house smells strongly of smoke, but the fire is contained and we are okay.

The fire was in the one room that actually attaches to my house and, that room is completely destroyed. Coping ~ma going out to my neighbor, Kim, her cat and dog.

I know it might seem odd that the last thing I did before darting out of a burning building was to come to you, but my faith in this collective energy is huge. Thank you so much for the strong vibes.

We are well, and grateful.

The buyer for my house terminated the contract because they are afraid that at some point in the future there might be a termite infestation, and her sensitivity to unspecified chemicals would lead to personal discomfort. While I am sorry that her sensitivity to chemicals has had such an effect on the logical portion of their brains, the fact that they've strung me along, precluded any other offers, and quit with such spurious rationale leads to a situation where I can't help but wishing unending asthma and a plague of insects upon both. I will probably feel less vengeful after I finish my coffee.
