Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Anne, received beee-oo-teee-ful blanket this week, and can't find your e, but will send this off to its rightful owner before xmas.

And, you know, the socks, i could have cried. Nicest thing I've got in a long while.

In the middle of watching The Two Towers last night, Hubby realized his heart rate was pegging at 170, not good for a cardiac patient. I took him to the hospital after the movie--yes, after, he didn't want to "bother" anyone--and this morning they did another angioplasty. His third of the year. They put in another stent, just below the first one, where the artery changes sizes and wasn't properly covered by the first stent. He's doing well, I'll probably bring him home tomorrow. And we'll go see the movie again sometime when he's not having a cardiac episode.

On the plus side, we slam-dunked the yearly deductable for the health insurance back in March, so the whole thing--ER, cath lab, expensive after-market conversions--is free. Snerk.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I'm home. Good to have family. Sister and I share an appreciation for imaginary internet friends.

Viewing is on Fri. and service on Sat.

Have had a really good time remembering with my sisters and parents.

We signed the contract on a house this morning. It's an old place which needs a bit of work (so we aren't moving in for a couple of months), with a lovely, huge south-facing garden. We're psyched, despite the whole thirty-years-of-debt thing.

Oh, and today is Benno's 10 month birthday. Double figures!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Going dark grey for a couple weeks. No doubt by the time I get back, there will be 750 users, about 100 of which with newly torn assholes.

Be good.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

I just got my grades too. I didn't fail my first semester of college! I'm quite thrilled; I really didn't think I did half so well as I actually did. I got an A, two B's, and a C plus. Very, very pleased.

Mostly lurking...

I'm going to be going dark gray, if not completely black for the next week or so. Leaving in a couple hours for the family reunion in TN. Should be loads of fun. No one wants me to worry about a thing. You know I still will, but it's nice that they're chipping in to help with stuff.

So, if I don't get to say it again, everyone have a very happy holiday!

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

I have a job interview in an hour--a part-time unit coordinator position on the labor/birth/delivery floor of a major Boston hospital. Good vibes are gratefully accepted!

"Don't think of yourself as an organic pain collector racing towards oblivion." Dogbert to Dilbert

I'm going dark over tonight and the weekend, visiting my sister. I won't be able to breakdown the Firefly previously on until Sunday.
