Birth, death, illness, new job, vacation...if it's happening to you and you want us to know about it, post it here. These threads are intended for announcements only. Want to offer sympathy or congratulations, or talk about anything? Take it to Natter. Any natter here will be deleted.
I'm going to be going dark gray, if not completely black for the next week or so. Leaving in a couple hours for the family reunion in TN. Should be loads of fun. No one wants me to worry about a thing. You know I still will, but it's nice that they're chipping in to help with stuff.
So, if I don't get to say it again, everyone have a very happy holiday!
I have a job interview in an hour--a part-time unit coordinator position on the labor/birth/delivery floor of a major Boston hospital. Good vibes are gratefully accepted!
I'm going dark over tonight and the weekend, visiting my sister. I won't be able to breakdown the
Firefly
previously on until Sunday.
Went to ENT this morning and just got back from the hospital where I had cortisone injected into my sinuses. What fun! Looks like my nasal problems will be chronic. Oh Joy!
The doctor did this procedure for me right away so that I will be able to enjoy my turkey dinners next week. (For this I am actually very thankful.)
To all my LA buds that made plans for me this weekend, especially to perkins & to Scrappy:
We are, in fact, going away after all, so I won't make it to Firefly tonight or to TTT tomorrow. But thanks for inviting me. And ita, I will rely on the trusty Tivo to make it possible for you to tape Firefly for me, and will gladly repay you with a good hot meal when you are once again mobile.
Bye!
I will be dark this weekend as I'm going to a friend's wedding out of town.
I spent my birthday in Marrakesh. Woo!
Holy moley, I guess the Buffista vibe is formidable! When I got home from the interview there was a message on my machine offering me the job! So say hello to one of the new Unit Coordinators for the labor and delivery unit of Brigham & Women's Hospital.
I'm sorely tempted to use an emoticon right now to express my glee.
If anybody is on Effexor please drop me a note.
I've had some new side effects this month and my doctor has seen similar problems in a number of other patients on the drug. She's contacting the company to see if there is something wonky about the latest batch.
Thanks to the Ohio Buffista(s) for coming to the party last night, in person or in spirit (StephL, I know you would have enjoyed it)!
