Some of you may remember Herself. Her first novel, What Love Means To You People, is coming out soon.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

On Sunday evening, Polgara's mother, Linda Pinette, passed away in her sleep, very unexpectedly. She was a single mom who raised two amazing young women all by herself, and if I don't know what else to say.

Polgara's sister wished for flowers up to the ceiling, so if you have the means, please send a bunch.

Visiting hours between 4-8 on Wednesday, E. E. Burns & Son Funeral Home, 204 Main St., Malden, MA

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

Releasing the jobma to do its thing for other Buffistas. I signed an employment agreement yesterday that should keep me busy for the last few months of the year.

The position would work out of their office in Lexington, MA.

If you, or someone you know, might be interested in this position, please drop me an e-mail and my profile addy, and I'll send you the full position description (which is VERY thorough and much too long to post here).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I know it's a bit last-minute, and that many people here are completely tapped out after donating to hurricane relief, but I will be running in the Race for the Cure again this Sunday, as I do every year. If you would like to make a donation, click here.

Now tagless for your comfort.

My 20 year old nephew appears to have OD'd last night. He's on a respirator and he may have brain damage.

I'm waiting on a call from his mother to find out what's going on. A little bit of recovery-ma for the boy and some calm-ma for my sister would be greatly appreciated.
