A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

At 6pm I head for the airport where I will be taking a little plane to Virginia to visit a friend for the weekend. That will be immediately followed by me taking a big plane to Oakland to visit the family for ritual sacrifice, pie, and likely mingling with Hec, JZ and who knows who else. I'll be back in Beantown Dec. 3. During this adventure, I will be cutting back on my time online.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Shameless self-promotion, redux...

I'm on the radio TONIGHT! And there IS a Webcast.

9 p.m. EST, 8 p.m. Central, 7 p.m. Mountain, and 6 p.m. West-Coasties.

I'll be around less often this week as I visit my Dad in Arlington, MA and Laura's folks in New London, CT.

I made it safely back from Burbank. Finally. Weekend spent in haze of utter exhaustion and beer.

Already miss Consuela and the LAistas.

Need to be dead now.

I will be in San Francisco on holiday from December 14 through December 20th. I'll be staying in a Hotel in Hec's neighborhood.

And hey! That just happens to coincide with the premier of T2T, which occurs on Wednesday, December 18th.

I will be available any evening for get-togethers, but especially want to do something for the premier, and I want to make sure I get movie tickets beforehand.

love's a dream you enter though I shake and shake and shake you

My wrists are in a bad, bad way--my tendonitis is back and it's taking no prisoners. As such, I won't be posting much and will probably be skipping and skimming a lot to avoid the temptation to natter.

If you need to be in touch, email me and I'll respond with my telephone number.

If I only had a brain...

I'm going to be dark over the holidays. Happy Thanksgiving, Americans; nyah nyah nyah you don't get a day off to everybody else.

Always Anti-fascist!

Good News For Beep Me: I've got a very good shot at getting published in a national magazine! Further details in "Great Write Way", this is just the attention-seeking behavior therapists used to warn me about. And you will not get rid of me over Turkey day, cause you guys are my most favorite homicide preventative.I mean, since we took the attorney off speed-dial.

hip deep in pie

I am requesting vibes. I have a presentation tomorrow evening for a class that has been a bit of a disaster. Our prof gave us a huge term assignment, failed to teach us many of the elements required for the assignment, and now expects us to pack an hours worth of material into 15 minutes. The presentation shows little of the actual work we have done because we had to gloss over so much of it for time. But at least that part will be over.

Also, I realized that in my panic about this class, I forgot about a meeting of my co-op tomorrow, and, as the secretary, I'm leaving them high and dry without minutes of the last meeting or someone to take them.

I'm feeling exhausted, pissed off and guilty all at once.
