We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

This is a slightly odd request, but could y'all send some -ma to an anonymous Buffista in need of support?

Much appreciated.

Our wings are not tired

My friend that needed the ~ma just called to inform me that he father passed away tonight. She and her family were all together when it happened, for which she is very thankful.

Thrive to spite them

My Dad had a heart attack this morning. My grandma evidentally forgot my number and where mom worked and so Mom got a messag when she got home and called me.

I talked to him -- he realized what was going on and called work then 911. But it was mild and he has a stent and that's all I know.

We still have to figure out how to tell my brother who's in NZ.

Lots and lots of all kinds of ~ma please.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Continued healthma requested for my dad. He hasn't had any further TIA's, but one of the many scans they've done revealed a spot on one of his lungs, so they did a surgical biopsy today. There was some lymphatic involvement as well, and the surgeon is almost certain it's cancer, but they won't know for a few days what kind. And it's possible, even likely, that it has nothing to do with the TIA's.

Dammit.

All is well that ends in pizza.

My sister Jeannie called. My nephew Chris is home from Iraq.

Nope, not a furlough. The good kind of home.

move out and draw fire

Health-ma request for my brother-in-law. The bottom 1/3 of his esophagus has changed to intestinal tissue (I guess this is called Barrett's syndrome) which is considered a precancerous situation. He's on meds, but the one oncologist in town is moving in two weeks. So ~ma for the meds working, and whatever lifestyle changes he needs to implement.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

I just got off the phone with Maria who asked me to post here for her because she is without internet for the next three days.

She would like a little medical ~ma sent PA-ward for her mother, who is going to the hospital due to an allergic reaction. She's not too concerned about the reaction itself, but she's very concerned about the fact her mom does not have health insurance and may end up stuck with a big bill and/or an expensive medication.

March can end now. Anytime.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Job~ma for me, please. I've just turned in my resume at our Big Regional Theater for a job that I would not only kick ass in, but take names as well. I desperately want this job. I need this job.

(Also a little "don't make an ass of yourself"~ma, because I'll be seeing the woman who will be making the hiring decision at the show opening tonight, and I fear enthusiasm- and wine-induced babbling.)
