Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

Going dim for about a week to visit my family in Birmingham. Wish me travel-ma, to not be too bothered by the additional layers of discomfort pregnancy adds to travel.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'm very soon going to be dark until later in the day Saturday at the earliest (although I might post during the Pats game if I'm back for it as planned).

Happy festivus all, and don't forget the Feast of Alvis!!!!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I'm in Seattle, and sorta greyish--my sister and mom have tons o' stuff planned for use to do (we already spent the day downtown buying salmon and shoes and honey and other various stuff), so I'll be online only occasionally.

Deborah Grabien--I saw your message in the LotR thread. I meant to e-mail you my thanks for your Secret Santa gift--it was very cool! I'll post the rest of this in the Good-bye thread when I get a chance (either tonight or maybe tomorrow--dinner is waiting!)

Merry Christmas, and god/goddess/whoever/whatever you worship, everyone!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

I'll be dark until Sunday night at earliest, as I'm visiting my folks in Florida.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Hi Everyone, Just asking for some jobma on this job.

I applied before Christmas. this one would be a great opportunity.

I hope they at least interview me.

I am always applying for other work, but this one needs some concentration of the specific-job-type-ma.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Big huge health-ma requested today for Phyllis, long time friend of the Perkins' family and someone DX & I met in Maine and immediately adored. She's in a So. Cal. hospital with the flu and isn't expected to make it. Please visualize healthy clear lungs and overall health-ma for Phyllis!
