This thread is for Buffista quotage. Posts that are profound, witty, or otherwise deserving of immortality go here. This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. Finally, please note which thread spawned the quotage and please white-out anything that might be spoilery to Un-Americans.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

ita: Hey, where do negresses stand on her list of evil, PC?

Polter-Cow: Definitely not allowed!

tommyrot: But better or worse than Caucasian devil women?

Polter-Cow: I don't know? Probably worse.

tommyrot: It'd probably be wrong for you to ask her strictly for our amusement, huh?

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

shrift - I think they took the caffeine out of everything today and replaced it with narcolepsy.

Frankenbuddha - It's funny, but why do shrift's posts consist entirely of "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"?

Jessica: Aw, I'm going to miss the Guiliani campaign. Once it became clear that he was in no danger of being the nominee, it's been one of the most entertaining things EVAR to watch.

Tom Scola: I know! I want to see Giuliani lose some more!

In Bitches:

Hil R.: Sigh. My mother just emailed my sister and me an article explaining how compound interest works, and how it's different from simple interest. I'm a mathematician. My sister is a tax lawyer/accountant. She thinks we don't understand compound interest?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"
