Our wings are not tired.

You know it is billytea...

When I was nine, and my mother was pregnant with my sister, I offered to be present at the birth because "I'd never witnessed the birth of a mammal". I wasn't greatly put out when she declined.

Not having has never been the thing I've regretted most in my life. Not trying is.

SusanW, for the visual alone (and glad it turned out not to be pre-term labor)

Did I mention the Player was moving around a lot? Well, a 26-week fetus still weighs well under 2 lbs. and has plenty of room to maneuver in the uterus. It took nearly two hours, and finally ended up with this poor nurse having to sit with me for ten minutes and basically chase the Player around my uterus.

Bwah.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Billytea, bringing the funny in Bitches (as he so often does):

Meanwhile, while anole lizards don't strictly lek, females don't come into breeding condition until they've seen males displaying to each other. Much like Lana Lang.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Curse you wee Calli!

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Self-explanatory. Madrigal in Bitches.

. I think the problem here is that most drivers think they can drive perfectly well in snow and don't have the sort of fear they should. People are all, "Ha ha, I shall drive quickly and tailgate and shovel snow for hours!" when they should be, "Ahhh! Horrible white stuff falling from the sky! The firmament is breaking apart! We must sacrifice some Packers to appease the gods and never, ever, leave the indoors!"

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Trudy in the Holiday thread, re: billytea,

If you really want to help him you'll give birth and let him watch.

Brenda with an all too occasional snark:

aurelia: I am wearing 3 pairs of socks and my toes are still cold. Forget trying to keep the hands warm.

DavidS: Put a pair of socks on your hands.

brenda m: Because they're doing such a bang-up job with the feet?

Madrigal Costello: The last time I played "Never have I ever" it was with a bunch of Iowans. I went through the most wine coolers and felt like Mae West.

tina f: ... Which goes to prove, I guess, that it's not how much money you spend, it's how crazy your sister is.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Lyra Jane, summarizing Lilo and Stitch in Movies:

So it's like S5 Buffy, if the Space Barf Demon had stuck around and been a little more cuddly?
