This thread is for Buffista quotage. Posts that are profound, witty, or otherwise deserving of immortality go here. This is also Shrift's source for the BRQG, so be aware that if your words end up here, they'll also end up there. It's okay, Megan, he's a fellow Upper Canadian. He'll eventually move to the East Coast when Toronto is full of Newfoundlanders.

In case you missed it the first time around:
Ellen S: What happened to the Archaeology Section of the NY Times? (it used to be under Science, Social Science or some such)
DXMachina: You have to dig around for it...

JZ waxes lyrical in Bitches upon Why We Adore Jilli:
Other heroes, upon close scrutiny, turn out to have feet of clay - Jilli has feet of glitter clad in pointy-toed wicked granny boots with little bat wings flapping at the ankles.
Scrappy, context-free:
You got a mullet, I got Ozzy Osbourne waking up from a three-day- bender thing going. Together we will be like hair time travel to a day in 1983.
Rio: I'm the frolicky killah.
Natter 14:
Jesse: Oh man. I was just reading a posting for a job at Columbia University, and it said that, along with excellent communication skills, they are looking for someone with tack. Dude, I'm supposed to provide my own saddle?
Ms. Havisham discussing the Foamy nominations for Best Inanimate Object:
I would have nominated The One Ring, but it didn't put in quite the performance it did in FOTR. In the first movie, its moody flame reflections and the glowing script completely won me over. Its award last year was well deserved.
This year, it stepped back and let other objects have their moment. Kudos to the Ring. I'm sure it'll make a strong comeback in ROTK and earn another Foamy.
So out of the TTT nominations, I'll second Liv Tyler.
In Bitches:
Trudy:I would find a talking insect fascinating.
Perkins:I dunno if I would. I mean, what would it say. Mosquitos might be cool, because they'd be all "blood, blood, who has the blood?", but flies would just go on about vomiting on food and such.
