Well, I really enjoyed that one. (Got to it a little late, but....).
What with caring about what happened to Kelly, and being genuinely happy for Simon, our Nathan seems to be in danger of turning into a regular, or at least a not-permanently-irritating, guy.
(He still managed to say, "What's a gorilla doing in a gorilla suit?" though, and for that I am grateful).
ETA: Misfits Christmas Special is this coming Sunday, E4, 10 pm.
Misfits Christmas Special is this coming Sunday, E4, 10 pm.
And the series finale is tomorrow, right?
Right, the usual time and place.
yes, I'm really looking forward to both. I might have to save them up and mainline them over the weekend. I'm supposed to be grading.
Okay, I've caught up on Misfits, just in time for the finale in... fifteen minutes. Woo!
My response to the rest of series two was pretty much "Simon. Simon? Simon! Siiiiiiiimoooooooon!!! Gorilla? Simon."
The preview for the Christmas special looks hilarious. I think
"I'm gonna kill Jesus"
might be the most festive line ever.
Simon really has some of the best facial expressions. i'm both scared and turned on by his "game on" face. also? loved the Terminator line. such a Simon thing to say!
Funny thing is, someone was complaining elsewhere (IO9) that Simon's time loop made no sense. I explained it...using Terminator. So I feel quite vindicated right now.
I mostly think it makes sense. I don't know why Alisha wouldn't just tell him in the future to invest in some kevlar when he travels back. That wouldn't break the loop, because everything up until then would still happen, I think.
