Now I did a job. I got nothing but trouble since I did it, not to mention more than a few unkind words as regard to my character so let me make this abundantly clear. I do the job. And then I get paid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Funny thing is, someone was complaining elsewhere (IO9) that Simon's time loop made no sense. I explained it...using Terminator. So I feel quite vindicated right now.

I mostly think it makes sense. I don't know why Alisha wouldn't just tell him in the future to invest in some kevlar when he travels back. That wouldn't break the loop, because everything up until then would still happen, I think.

Oh! Also, the interview with the Asbo 5 that Alisha watched won't happen now, so does that mean that the whole future has changed?

Jars, my thoughts exactly. Oh well, wibbly wobbly timey wimey....

I did like the Terminator reference too though. Also, that Alisha never knows what Simon is on about (she hadn't heard of Echo and the Bunnymen either).

The minute that Curtis said he was lactose intolerant, it was pretty clear how how things were going to pan out. And there was Simon, protecting them all again.

Lactokinesis-Guy was very creepy, and the way he took care of Nathan was absolutely chilling. The supporting parts have been stupendous this season.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

it is kind of funny how his power worked on dairy, but nothing else. I still don't get the clogging arteries bit: is that even dairy anymore when it has been metabolized? What a creep though.

When Kelly was "dead", I knew that Curtis would have to be the one to save the day.

Compassionately intolerant

Man! That baby face with the cold steel glare was really chilling.

is that even dairy anymore when it has been metabolized

Well spotted!

Yeah, the dairy still in the stomach should work, but metabolized proteins? Hand-wavium!

The minute that Curtis said he was lactose intolerant, it was pretty clear how how things were going to pan out.

Right. Though the twists of just how the obvious occurred were really inventive.

My one concern with the way the awesome stories are unfolding is that they are getting pretty cavalier about killing people. The body count is getting pretty high. It could be tough to maintain sympathy if they don't try some more creative solutions.

They are getting pretty cavalier? That was the first time they've killed anyone in episodes. They kinda slid past the last one.

But I'm totally down with it. I don't think killing murderers is unsympathetic behaviour.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

hold up:

they killed the dairy guy?

That's what I'm assuming happened after they knocked him out. What did you think?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

It never occurred to me that they killed him! OMG.

Apparently Lenscrafters gave me a naïvete coating on my lenses instead of the scratch resistant one I requested.
