Jon, all German TV series are dubbed... BUT I have a big-ass satellite dish and get British TV. Pushing Daisies is showing on ITV1 on Friday nights, and episode 3 is on today. So I can record the last 3 episodes for you and send you a DVD of the MPEGs if you like.
You'll just have to remind me about it a bit nearer the time. Actually, as luck would have it (not), they'll probably be on when we're away in India (April 3rd to 17th), but I can still record them of course, you'll just have to wait until we get back.
You're going to India!!!??? How cool! Is it for work, or just a really cool and exotic vacation?
Well, a really cool and exotic vacation - I hope! Very very good friends of ours moved to Delhi for work a while back for a couple of years, and we're going to visit them. It's perfect because their daughter L. is B's best friend (they've known each other since they were 2 months old), and their other daughter M. is C's age and they're also very close. Plus all the adults get on well too.
So nice of you to offer, Fiona! It may be easier for me to just ahem them, but I'll see what the sitch is then and let you know.
Fiona - your trip to India sounds fantastic! I hope you have a fabulous time. (And will report back with pictures.)
Hi all. Joined today :-) I'm in the UK so thought this would be a good place for my first post.
Just wanted to say hello so...HI!
Meg x
Welcome, Meg! What part of the UK?
Hi Meg, & welcome - how did you run across us?
Welcome aboard, Meg! Whereabouts in Blighty are you based? And how did you find us? (Er - at the risk of being desperately unoriginal with my opening questions!)
Hello, Meg! I'm in the UK too- Nottingham, to be specific, though that's set to change in the course of the year. If you were a biscuit, what kind of biscuit would you be?
