He's definitely worth seeing live, in case you wanted to know.
Yep. Saw him in 1980 and have been waiting 29 years to repeat the experience. :)
Oh and moonlit and I are fine. We are nowhere near any of the bushfires burning across Victoria. In case anyone was worried.
I was just coming to ask if all our Australians are safe from the fires. Thanks for reporting in, jimi.

Heh. This, my lovely, is precisely what made me think: "...hey, Australia's not so far away...'
I've never been to a convention, and I am a little tickled at the thought of using that half term holiday to go to Australia, do touristy things (possibly including finding Buffistas!) - and then spending the last weekend geeking out like a total fangirl at a con full of my fellow geeky fangirls. (For SPN has eaten my brain of late.)
But - it's just the ridiculously decorative Js and Misha who will be there, as I understand it. And whilst they are ridiculously decorative, and whilst I appreciate the hell out of their mad acting skillz, I'm not really all over that whole mob-the-actor thing. Or prepared to pay cash money to be photographed next to some poor bastard doing the meet'n'greet.
I do like the idea of going to panels and getting to be geeky with fellow geeks, and if there were some of the writers in attendance, or directors, or other techie people (or indeed more in the way of supporting actors) then I think I'd be booking my ticket right now. But I'm a bit bemused trying to see how much interest or entertainment one can get out of 3 actors being pretty and charming in front of big crowds.
Hmm. So - a bit tempted by the pretty, and by the comical nature of having a Geekly Goal during my holiday, but probably going to save my money.
On a less mememe note - glad to hear that you guys aren't near the bushfires! I just saw the news.
Hey Fiona! Has Pushing Daisies started up in Germany yet? The three unaired eps are scheduled to air in your adopted homeland in March. In Boxed Set, we're wondering if they are dubbed or if they use subtitles?
Jon, all German TV series are dubbed... BUT I have a big-ass satellite dish and get British TV. Pushing Daisies is showing on ITV1 on Friday nights, and episode 3 is on today. So I can record the last 3 episodes for you and send you a DVD of the MPEGs if you like.
You'll just have to remind me about it a bit nearer the time. Actually, as luck would have it (not), they'll probably be on when we're away in India (April 3rd to 17th), but I can still record them of course, you'll just have to wait until we get back.
You're going to India!!!??? How cool! Is it for work, or just a really cool and exotic vacation?
Well, a really cool and exotic vacation - I hope! Very very good friends of ours moved to Delhi for work a while back for a couple of years, and we're going to visit them. It's perfect because their daughter L. is B's best friend (they've known each other since they were 2 months old), and their other daughter M. is C's age and they're also very close. Plus all the adults get on well too.
So nice of you to offer, Fiona! It may be easier for me to just ahem them, but I'll see what the sitch is then and let you know.
Fiona - your trip to India sounds fantastic! I hope you have a fabulous time. (And will report back with pictures.)
