"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I wonder if Aimee's seen that.

hip deep in pie

I wonder if Aimee's seen that.

It's definitely a cautionary tale. "Remember folks, spay and neuter your pets. Especially camels."

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Oh dear, that's rather unfortunate timing. The group my Cellars are a part of, have just changed their name to Thirsty Camel.

bwahahahaha

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hmm. I'm suddenly glad that today's trip to the Albuquerque zoo did not include the advertised camel ride.

In Australia, you don't ride the camel; the camel rides you.

Rugby World Cup anyone? I'm very excited, even though I won't be able to watch most of the matches.

I recently found out that Canada has a team at the RWC. Probably won't do very well, but I'll watch some of the coverage.

If you ever get the chance, do yourself a favour, and check out Men in Tutus. Moonlit and me went to a cut-down performance (a small stage, so only 9 dancers) in Warrnambool but fuck it was hilarious. [link]

The founder and artistic director, Victor Trevino performed the Dying Swan and it was amazing; technically brilliant and extremely funny.

Fortunately, we snagged prime seats where we were far enough away to see the whole stage but also close enough to see the facial expressions of the performers.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

It looks like they're in the grand tradition of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo. That would definitely be wonderful!

"When the world's run by fools it's the duty of intelligence to disobey." Martin Firrell

Howdy all, as jimi said Men in Tutus was a very funny show. And yeah Beverly, the choreographer was one of the founding members of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, so Men in Tutus is definitely in the same grand tradition.

ion from down under, it is now end of term 3 school holidays so two weeks off, woo hoo!!!
