Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Thanks Fay. I think one of those will work. Her birthday was yesterday, so I got a friend who has been on Skype long enough to qualify to buy vouchers to buy one, compensated friend with a check, and emailed the voucher to her.

But I'll definitely use one of these next year. Probably Emporium: since she lives in ChaingMai I don't think a Bangkok centric gift makes sense.

I'm really irritated at the Skype "you can't buy vouchers until your account is three months old" rule. I'm still trying to figure out how that can possibly prevent fraud.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Clear eyes for Clara-ma.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Best wishes for Clara and Fiona and the whole family.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

All good thoughts for little Clara, her mom, and the rest of the family, too.

Good -ma for Clara (and dear lord, she's TWO? How old does that make Benno now??)

Fiona - Jul 24, 2007 1:11:46 am PDT #8505 of 9843

How old does that make Benno now??

Benno is five and a half. Amazing, isn't it?!

Thank you so much, everybody! It went well. I mean, as well as anything can be when you have a hysterical baby screaming for "Water! Juice!" in the morning and can't give her anything, or when you watch a nurse carry your limp child away in his arms.... But we've all recovered and the procedure was fine. Now fingers crossed that the tear-duct stays unblocked....

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

I'm so glad to hear the procedure was uncomplicated. Poor little hungry-thirsty-upset noodle; that little, you can't even explain to them the why of any of it.

As long as Benno is still in the single digits, his age is at least within the realm of possibility. When he turns 10, though, we will all collectively perish of the shock.

Art Crawl!!!

Ripper is not dead!

I don't know who goes to what threads but at Comic-con one of the projects that Joss Whedon talked about is a 90 minute tv movie on the BBC about Giles.
