And I wonder, what possible catastrophe came crashing down from heaven and brought this dashing stranger to tears?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

SA, I believe Virgin Mobile's pay-as-you-go plan is also available in the UK (home base, after all). Among it's many pluses is that it's not a contract which means you are not obligated to keep using it, good if you mean to only have it for a shortish time.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Cool. I used Orange pay as you go while I was in Wales, and still have the t-mobile phone I had from by time in scotland; I was just hoping there was some plan that would span both countries, but I'm not surprised there's not. Thanks!

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Virgin Mobile works in the US and the UK, but not in Canada?

IIRC, today is Fiona's daughter's birthday. Happy first birthday, Clara! Happy day to your parents and big brother, too!

Thanks, Nilly! It is indeed Clara's birthday and we're having a nice time. She's a bit overwhelmed by all the attention so far (and seems to be getting a cold, possibly from swimming yesterday afternoon), but enjoyed smearing icing all over her hands and watching her big brother open all her presents.

Considering it was touch and go whether she'd even experience her original birth day, we've very happy and relieved to be here.

I think the only possible response for that is to ask for pictures.

Oh, so much yes. I remember your posts from the time.

What is even happening?

Happy Birthday, Clara! Hope you're feeling much better today, than you were a year ago, Fiona. I feel the need to add how very much I love Clara's name. It's so beautiful.

I think the only possible response for that is to ask for pictures.
Seconded.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Happy Birthday, Clara!

And Nilly, hope you're steering clear of unnecessary dangers.

Thanks, Fred. Nothing was fired to the area of Tel Aviv, so I'm pretty safe around here.
