Xander: I still don't get why we came here to get info about a killer snot monster. Giles: Because it's a killer snot monster from outer space. I did not say that.

If I only had a brain...

Death Star Plans.

I think his girlfriend is very lucky. If only he had a better grasp of apostrophe use, I'd be tempted to fight her for him. Only I'd want to keep the speaker.

Socks are a running theme throughout the series. They are used as symbols of freedom, redemption and love.

I'm going to be visiting my father in Bangor, Wales for two weeks, arriving this Sunday. I'm not sure if any Buffistas live near there, but if anyone would like a get-together, let me know! My profile address is fine (or you could just mention it here).

Oh, bloody marvellous. Yesterday 3 more bombs on tube trains and one on a bus in London, AND the police shoot some bloke dead (who had bloody well BETTER have been guilty as sin, and even if he was, I'm still very disconcerted that they just shot him dead). Today there's another frigging bomb in Egypt. Great. Fabulous. Yay.

I'm flying back to Blighty on the 26th/27th. Wonder what fun things will be happening then?

move out and draw fire

Today there's another frigging bomb in Egypt.

That's a bit of an understatement. Glad you are alright, Fay. My sympathies to the Egyptians and to those who got hurt or lost loved ones.

It was an understatement, wasn't it? But that was all the information that was available at the time when I went to bed - just that there had been a bomb, singular.

Christ.

I'm just bogarting the thread, aren't I?

Looks like police shot the wrong guy.

Great. Peachy. Yay for armed police. Not.
