Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I'm with Nilly, have we another true-blue Buffista match?

(and CONGRATULATIONS)

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Thanks folks. Had it not been for Joss, she and I might never have met. :)

We've managed to find a big, old house to rent but at the moment it's not looking so big b/c of all the boxes still waiting to be unpacked. We'll get there eventually though.

Conga-rats to Jim and the missus on the new-born.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Hot damn! Way to go, jimi & Moonlit!

I just love all you guys! And my people are pairing up and making babies like it's going out of fashion! There should so be an island for the Buffistas.

sigh.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Congratulations to Jim & Penny, and to jimi & moonlit!

Also, while I´m here, I´ll wave to Fiona from much closer than usual. I´m having an excellent time here in your fair country. How are you feeling? Are you still on bedrest?

Fiona - May 20, 2005 12:24:07 am PDT #7678 of 9843

Hi Kate! Whereabouts are you waving from?

Yup, still on semi-bedrest. I'm feeling pretty good though. Every day that I don't start bleeding is a good day. Not doing anything in the home is surprisingly tough, though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Whereabouts are you waving from?

Not Kate, but she's in Berlin.
