"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

What's to be warned about re Season 4 of Farscape?

What everyone else said. Others will disagree, but I found season 4 Farscape to be a bigger drop in quality than, say, the last few seasons of Buffy (which I loved large chunks of, and never felt as betrayed by). I realize there were meta reasons for it, but a lot of it was still inexcusable.

That said, PEACEKEEPER WARS managed to undo the damage. What a great sendoff.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Cooked sushi? Huh?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Some sushi is cooked -- inagi (one of the eels) is, for instance. Sashimi's always raw, methinks.

Ahh. I am spicy tuna roll's Bitch, so I miss out on a lot of the other stuff. I just can't resist. I need to go in a splurge when I have money, and get one of the sampler platter things.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Cooked sushi? Huh?

And M&S just cooks it so they can keep it on the shelf long and tempt weak people like me.

The best sushi I've had this month was a little place on Villiers St in London where you picked out your own pieces. I got about 16 pieces of sushi for £6.50. It was wonderful.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

I didn't know there *was* an American-style cookie, but apparently it is "oven-baked, soft, and chewy."

Actually it mostly means "big"; they tend to be about twice the size of your basic biccie.

Ah.

Well, I can only approve of that, really.

If I only had a brain...

Or three times, actually.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Attention Un-Americans, particuarly in the UK, there will be an article on Lost In The Grooves in the Times of London on Friday.

I searched The Times website this morning, but wasn't able to find the article online, unfortunately.
