It worked for me at the time.
I fell in love once Wash and his dinosaurs were on screen, but the people I watched the pilot with needed some more time to really truly be hooked. By the end of the second hour, they ignored their cell-phones (which is a thing that Israelies never do), but not at the end of the first.
Oh, and the reason I posted here is to send early wishes to moonlit, whose birthday, according to the Buffista Calendar, will be on Saturday, the 20th (I just won't be in front of a computer until Sunday).
I sent some emails on the 20th but I'll add a birthday post for moonlit anyway.
Happy Birthday moonlit!

Happy Belated Birthday, Moonlit!!!
Um. ::cough:: Sorry I disappeared for two months. I got busy. Jars, I would have loved to meet up with you while I was in Dublin. Sorry about about that.
Jim, where are you in the UK? I'm in Southwest Wales.
Don't worry about it SA. How did you like Dublin?
Speaking of London, I'm going to have an aimless day to myself on the 8th December (I think), if any UK-istas might be about?
I loved it. I found a Lush, and that made my day.
I may or may not be in London on the 8th. I was going to fly out to Berlin that morning, but I haven't made any plans. How long are you going to be there?
Lush makes me sneeze, I'm afraid.
I'm there for three days, but my plans for the eighth fell through. I figured I'd do some shopping and wander around the British Museum for an hour or five. I leave that evening. I wanted to stay for longer, but i'm graduating the next day, so I kind of have to come home for that.
Heh. I can understand why.
Okay, let me see how things work out on my end, okay?
Okay, looking forward to it if you can, completely understand if you can't.
