Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

all of the original cast (except those who have died in the meantime) are back on board - plus Douglas Adams himself as Agrajag.

They found another vase of Osaris?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They probably borrowed one from Tupac's posse.

Art Crawl!!!

Yeah, that Willow -- always grandstanding. I bet you can find 10 Vases of Osiris on Ebay on any day of the week.

Heee.

I think they took his voice from one of the audiobooks or something. Before his death, while they were already working on the new series, he absolutely insisted that he had to play Agrajag. Over-identify, much?

I thought it was really well done, and actually got goosebumps when it started and the announcer came on. The same announcer, sounding pretty much unchanged over 25 years.

The one fundamental difference from the first two radio series, though, is that you know the jokes already. Or at least, you do if you've read the books as often as I have. But the execution was still good to hear.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Aww...I can't wait. I hope they have it archived for a while, because it'll be a bit before I get to a place with reasonable downloadable speeds. But yay, for new radio! I lurve me some DA.

I hope they have it archived for a while

Each episode is up for 7 days after the Thursday repeat.

But fear not! The entire series is out on CD on October 25th, so it shouldn't be too hard to get your hands on a copy after that.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Adams recorded it in the belief that the show would happen sooner.

I had a chance to hear Luke from the OC dubbed into German, and it sounded great. I wonder what Seth sounds like, though.

Art Crawl!!!

He did sound great. (They picked a great line for him. . . you know -- they could have had Julie explaining "booty call" to Caleb -- in multiple languages. That would have been fun.)
