Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

He definitely did not get the living shit kicked out of him nearly often enough.

I hope that's not considered spoilery.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

[link] now has Firefly listed on their site. They have it for $50.95.

+++++++++++++++++++

I know this movie has been discussed on the Phoenix but I don't recall if it was in here, or the Movie thread. Anyway, The Whole Wide World has finally been released on DVD in Australia. Of course, the cheap bastards released the NTSC version and simply made it R4. However, it's only $17.95 on AtlanticDVD, so I guess we'll forgive them.

To every idea a shelf...

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I love Vincent D'Onofrio. Squinty McPout, not so much, but I hear she's good in this.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Might as well go for the 7000. It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.

[link] now has Firefly listed but they want 70 bucks so fuck 'em.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

hey moonie!

Thanks for the heads-up but I saw it earlier this evening. I check the ebroadcast every week, since 7 can't seem to choose a regular start time for Angel.

I did watch the first couple of eps but totally missed last weeks. It's an awkward time-slot for me, since the shop doesn't close until 9pm. If it's been a quiet evening and I'm quick enough, I can get finished and be home before 9:30 but a lot of the time it's nearer to 10 before I get home.

Hey, you still haven't replied to my email and told me what sort of music you like. With a bit of luck, our tastes won't be too different and I'll have something I can send your way.

In Firefly Comes To Oz news: AtlanticDVD now have the set listed. $54.95. Postage (within Oz) is free if you pre-order.

From what I can ascertain, DevotedDVD.com.au classify the set as "1 disk", which means postage will only be a buck and a half, so they're still the cheapest I've found but only by a few cents.

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

tru calling ,note that it's moved to 9.30 Thursday, tomorrow night.

I vaguely knew that, but got sidetracked by Margaret, David, and Amanda.

Only realized with I switched over for Angel and "hey Faith, ... damn. I miissed the opening, ... no wait Tru .. oh well, no biggee"

And then she remembered where she was. Tied to an X frame in a basement while some madman took out his frustration on her body. Oh no.

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about Wonderfalls coming to Australia... just scoping things out, crossing fingers - you know that kind of thing.....
