Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

hopefully they'll like them enough to go out and buy the set for themselves. :)

"Turn two and the rest are food."

To every idea a shelf...

I missed Tru Calling: what's the UnAmerican verdict?

I hope a video store near me gets Firefly in so I can have a marathon. I'm too poor to buy them blind, and I've noticed being a Buffy/Angel fan doesn't automatically make you a Firefly fan.

ETA: It's extremely unlikely we'll ever see Wonderfalls, isn't it?

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Eh, it was alright. Wouldn't have got the time-slot it did, if it weren't for Eliza. Very much in the vein of that show, Early Edition, about the dude who gets the newspaper a day early and has to try and stop the various tragedies he reads about. I'll keep watching it but won't be overly upset if I miss an episode.

Oh and Eliza does a lot of running hither and thither. Hence the focus on the running in the promo Jon mentioned.

I certainly won't be holding my breath. Did that with Firefly on 9 and nearly died.

Sadly, only in the first episode...

Typical, rope us in then leave us dangling...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She does have a beauty contest episode with Glory.

Ficht nicht mit Der Raketemensch!

Not that I condone downloading, but you wouldn't happen to know the episode number, would you, ita?

'And on that tragic day, an era came to its inevitable end.' That's all there is.

I missed Tru Calling: what's the UnAmerican verdict?

Girl pretty.

And you know what would have been funny? The gamblers bearing the crap out of Tru's brother because they found he had a 10 of clubs tucked up his sleeve.

Often the biggest reward in a Tru Calling ep would be the brother having the living shit kicked out of him.
