I'm great, Angus! Single as hell, which is of the good, but staying that way by NGA, which is NSM.
Going to the F2F! How much would I love to see you?
How are you, dearest?
Ha, yes, my life is pretty much the same as your first paragraph including the acronyms! Apart from that, job boring, health OK, sort of in a holding pattern at the moment really. I'm completely broke so I'm afraid I won't be making it to the F2F this year!

Well, a girl can dream, can't she?
I was talking to a friend the other day who was bemoaning the fact that she doesn't meet any women who want to settle down, while I was was grumbling about not finding any women who don't want to get married.
Another of the Universe's little jests.
Hold onto your stetsons, folks, we're one step closer!

How cool are iPods? (If you answered "very" you get a gold star!)
Also?
Forget Frederick.
Forget Princessdom.
Forget the Tiara.
"Member of the Order of the Elephant".
Now that is cool.
I'm gathering that Mary Donaldson is flying completely under the non-UnAm radar. But really, I don't remember the last person I saw that wore green velvet with half as much class.
edit? what edit? lalala...
Heh. Doubt it's a secret, Angus, I just didn't want to post the name of the exEmployer...who was not Abbott, no.
Thank you, Brits, for lending us Eric Idle (song contains foul language and liberal attitudes)

Don't know how true this is but it's funny nonetheless:
Ground StaffAfter every flight, pilots fill out a form called a gripe sheet, which conveys to the mechanics any problems encountered with the aircraft during the flight that need repair or correction. The mechanics read and correct the problem, and then respond in writing on the lower half of the form what remedial action was taken, and the pilot reviews the gripe sheets before the next flight. Never let it be said that ground crews and engineers lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual logged maintenance complaints and problems as submitted by Qantas pilots and the solution recorded by maintenance engineers.
(P = The problem logged by the pilot; S = The solution and action taken by the mechanics.)

P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough. S: Auto-land not installed on this aircraft.
P: Something loose in cockpit. S: Something tightened in cockpit.
P: Dead bugs on windshield. S: Live bugs on back-order.

P: Number 3 engine missing. S: Engine found on right wing after brief search.
