I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Tis moonlit thou shouldst beggest wiv ;)

Normally, R2 and R4 are interchangeable. In fact, from what I've read, out of all the different regions, only R1 is so different as to definitely require a region-free, or region-selectable player...but don't quote me on that.

I'm still waiting to hear from this bloke who mentioned the review. I'll have a word to his friend--my neighbour--sometime this week, if he hasn't got back to me.

I'm positive the set will eventually get released, it's just a matter of when.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

I'm not sure if there's a proper place for this but I'm putting it here because it needs to be read. :)

This was originally an IRC log.

JonJonB: Purely in the interests of science, I have replaced the word "wand" with "wang" in the first Harry Potter Book
JonJonB: Let's see the results...

JonJonB: "Why aren't you supposed to do magic?" asked Harry.
JonJonB: "Oh, well -- I was at Hogwarts meself but I -- er -- got expelled, ter tell yeh the truth. In me third year. They snapped me wang in half an' everything

JonJonB: A magic wang... this was what Harry had been really looking forward to.

JonJonB: "Yes, yes. I thought I'd be seeing you soon. Harry Potter." It wasn't a question. "You have your mother's eyes. It seems only yesterday she was in here herself, buying her first wang. Ten and a quarter inches long, swishy, made of willow. Nice wang for charm work."
JonJonB: "Your father, on the other hand, favored a mahogany wang. Eleven inches. "

JonJonB: Harry took the wang. He felt a sudden warmth in his fingers. He raised the wang above his head, brought it swishing down through the dusty air and a stream of red and gold sparks shot from the end like a firework, throwing dancing spots of light on to the walls

JonJonB: "Oh, move over," Hermione snarled. She grabbed Harry's wang, tapped the lock, and whispered, 'Alohomora!"

JonJonB: The troll couldn't feel Harry hanging there, but even a troll will notice if you stick a long bit of wood up its nose, and Harry's wang had still been in his hand when he'd jumped - it had gone straight up one of the troll's nostrils.

JonJonB: He bent down and pulled his wang out of the troll's nose. It was covered in what looked like lumpy gray glue.

JonJonB: He ran onto the field as you fell, waved his wang, and you sort of slowed down before you hit the ground. Then he whirled his wang at the dementors. Shot silver stuff at them.

JonJonB: Ok
JonJonB: I have found, definitive proof
JonJonB: that J.K Rowling is a dirty DIRTY woman, making a fool of us all
JonJonB: "Yes," Harry said, gripping his wang very tightly, and moving into the middle of the deserted classroom. He tried to keep his mind on flying, but something else kept intruding.... Any second now, he might hear his mother again... but he shouldn't think that, or he would hear her again, and he didn't want to... or did he?

melusine: O_______O

JonJonB: Something silver-white, something enormous, erupted from the end of his wang

JonJonB: Then, with a sigh, he raised his wang and prodded the silvery substance with its tip.

JonJonB: 'Get - off - me!' Harry gasped. For a few seconds they struggled, Harry pulling at his uncles sausage-like fingers with his left hand, his right maintaining a firm grip on his raised wang.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I wish I was that clever.

Lurching from one disaster to the next.

Still no real confirmation but a chap at AtlanticDVD consulted his books and I've been told he has a listing for Firefly - The Complete series. While there is no day set, it is supposedly being released in June.

Another quick fly-by visit ...

Hi Nilly, good to see you too, I'm missing the night-shift chats.

jimi, I'll try to post another batch this week.

JULIE!! You're back!! How's things?

Angus, did you got your parcel?

Art Crawl!!!

Once you get the FF dvds -- I hope you guys get Wonderfalls. Maybe even on tv.

The Harry Potter stuff scares me. But then, I am not Rowlingesque. I tired.. but.. It's just one of those things. Like me and Tarantino.

Normally, R2 and R4 are interchangeable. In fact, from what I've read, out of all the different regions, only R1 is so different as to definitely require a region-free, or region-selectable player

hmmm.. not been my experience at all. Maybe the preception of interchangability probably hangs on the fact that R2 and R4 are both PAL and R1 would be NTSC. (Or maybe they are genuinely interchangeable and my DVD player hates me?!? )

JULIE!! You're back!! How's things?

Howdy you! Things are thingy. (In fact, so thingy that, like Suess, I've had to number them!)

And I wouldn't say "back" so much as... dejaviewing. You know, like when you go through your wardrobe trying things on to remember how they fit. There should be a word for that. It should also be in french. (I'm just sayin' :)

Mostly, I'm suffering from end-of-Angelitis and pining for the Bronze. YS&PMV.

Once you get the FF dvds -- I hope you guys get Wonderfalls. Maybe even on tv.

Highly unlikely sumi. Back before you guys actually got Firefly it was included in our "coming this year to tv" lists. And when it got yanked in the US, it fell off the radar so fast the station involved denied it had ever had the rights to it. What can I say, we're foreign. (Day late, dollar short..er.)

Which is not to say that I didn't surrender to destiny (Or that I'm willing to let others live Wonderfallfree.)
