The Harry Potter stuff scares me. But then, I am not Rowlingesque. I tired.. but.. It's just one of those things. Like me and Tarantino.

Normally, R2 and R4 are interchangeable. In fact, from what I've read, out of all the different regions, only R1 is so different as to definitely require a region-free, or region-selectable player

hmmm.. not been my experience at all. Maybe the preception of interchangability probably hangs on the fact that R2 and R4 are both PAL and R1 would be NTSC. (Or maybe they are genuinely interchangeable and my DVD player hates me?!? )

JULIE!! You're back!! How's things?

Howdy you! Things are thingy. (In fact, so thingy that, like Suess, I've had to number them!)

And I wouldn't say "back" so much as... dejaviewing. You know, like when you go through your wardrobe trying things on to remember how they fit. There should be a word for that. It should also be in french. (I'm just sayin' :)

Mostly, I'm suffering from end-of-Angelitis and pining for the Bronze. YS&PMV.

Once you get the FF dvds -- I hope you guys get Wonderfalls. Maybe even on tv.

Highly unlikely sumi. Back before you guys actually got Firefly it was included in our "coming this year to tv" lists. And when it got yanked in the US, it fell off the radar so fast the station involved denied it had ever had the rights to it. What can I say, we're foreign. (Day late, dollar short..er.)

Which is not to say that I didn't surrender to destiny (Or that I'm willing to let others live Wonderfallfree.)

Hi Nilly, pretty good, thanks--same boring call centre job, but I'm OK apart from that. How are you?

same boring call centre job

Yeah, I remembered you were in a job you didn't much like. And your health? That's the "OK" part, right?

I'm OK - crazy busy semester, handed in my research proposal and waiting for corrections (there are always corrections, it's a matter of principle). Oh, and do you know that thanks to an amazingly generous gift from the Buffistas, I'm going to visit the USA in the summer?

My health is actually pretty good, thanks--I'm on a clinical drug trial which seems to be making everything better (either that, or it's a placebo and I'm a dupe--it's all good).

t edit Yes, I'd heard about your trip to the States--very excited for you!

As long as it works, like you said, it's all good, I guess.
