You have a point, Plei. Maybe I won't convert the boy to Buffy-watching after all. Although I could use the toaster....

but if you want to think it was more than that, please feel free and I'm, you know, flattered and stuff.
I've very good at pretending things like that.
This delurking of SOs has me nervous.
What if Paul actually starts posting? Or, heaven forbid, reading?
My DH already lurks around here.
Welcome Penny!
Yes, yes I do. I really really do. In case you're confused, that would be a yes.
Sooo, that's an emphatic "no" from John... (What? None of you hear the opposite when something is said repeatedly and with much emphasis?) To your work address? Oh wait, didn't you move buildings or some such? Also, I finally saw that you and Thuy set the wedding date, congratulations!
Attention:
If my SO is lurking here I ask him to reveal himself to me because I'm well on my way to dying an old maid.
Thank you.
What Trudy said!
I'm very excited tonight (despite the NGAtude) because in my state of Victoria, the labor party (the good guys--well, my guys, anyway) have just won a state election by a landslide, and now have a record majority. Nice to know that sometimes the right people win.
it is nice when your lot win an election. It's even nicer, and rarer, if they turn out to be what you thought they were.
Yay, Angus! Yay Labour Party!
To your work address? Oh wait, didn't you move buildings or some such?
We moved next door kind of thing. Technically I'm in "Building B", but don't sweat it, same address. The sad thing is that we always used the term "Building B" for the pub next door, which was great, and had a good restaurant and a garden/courtyard out the back, plus, did I mention, right next door?. But now the pub has been knocked down to build flats for yuppie scum, so it's an unfortunate name.
Also, I finally saw that you and Thuy set the wedding date, congratulations!
Eleven days and counting. No chance you'll be in Sydney is there? My sister flies in from England soon, and she's so sweet, she's been researching Vietnamese wedding customs and everything online. She's coming via San Francisco.

Yay Labour Party!
I am not normally the kind of guy who punches his fist in the air and says "yes!". But last night I did it twice.
OK but what's weird is that Theo's trying to get the spelling of "Labour" right for unamerican English, but the party itself is spelled the American way. Someone will tell me why.
Ooops. Hadn't noticed Angus's spelling. Spelling it the 'American' way does strike me as odd.
